Department of Built Environment, KDU Penang University College, WORKING Together with Paramount Property Development and Paramount Property

George Town, 29 January 2018 – Several interior design students of KDU Penang University College found their skills tested to the maximum when they took part in the Klang Showroom Design Competition of a property developer.

The students designed the show gallery of several property units by Paramount Property Development and Paramount Property.

The winner of Type D1 unit was student Lee Tuck Onn and the champion of Type A unit was student Lim Wan Yee. The consolation prizes were also swept up by KDU Penang interior design students Tan Pei Lin, Nur Anasuhan Hazriharun Ooi and John Poh.

"We managed to finish this design even though the time was very limited to plan the 3D features, electronics and floor plans,” said Wan Yee. Tuck Onn thanked his lecturers for giving him the chance to test his skills in this competition.

The judges of this competition from Paramount Property Development and Paramount Property appreciated the students’ potential and their skills in designing the sales gallery show units. They also looked forward to working again with students of KDU Penang and help them to brush up their talents.

The prize giving ceremony were attended by Dr Chong Beng Keok, Vice Chancellor of KDU Penang, Mr Beh Chun Chong, CEO Property Division for Paramount Property, Mr Teh Hock Lye, Head of Product Development and Innovation Department, Miss Jade Ang, General Manager, Project Management, Ar. Lily Soon and Mr Lim Soo Piew, Senior Architects.
