“OMG I got an iPad!” Ecstatic students win newest iPads and Dato’ Lee Chong Wei racquets!

KDU College Penang congratulates lucky students for winning fabulous prizes (Ipad/Autographed LCW Racquet) as part of KDU’s 21st Anniversary promotional giveaway.
10 lucky students were jumping for joy on the 31st of March in KDU Penang when they were presented with the newest iPad and exclusive Dato' Lee Chong Wei racquet respectively as part of KDU Penang's 21st Anniversary promotional giveaway for 2012.

A real treat for the new students in 2012, these special prize draws were held in conjunction with the Star Education Fair earlier this year in April where students who signed for KDU's programs stood a chance to win one of these exclusive gifts. As such, these lucky students were selected from the drawbox on 23rd May for the various prize categories and were simply overwhelmed with emotion when they informed of their good fortune.

One of the ipad winners, Tan Pei Ying could not literally believe it when she received a call from the college, "I was excited upon hearing about my prize, I couldn't believe my luck", lamented Pei Ying. Another student, Tomoyoshi Matsubara who is an international student aspiring to be a pilot is glad about his winning. "This autographed racquet will make a superb gift for my brother who is celebrating his birthday soon. He is a big fan of Dato' Lee Chong Wei so this is just wonderful". Ooi Joa Ann, a Mass Communication student who is planning to pursue her post graduate studies in the future is looking forward to using the iPad for media research purposes. "The reason I choose to study here is because of its facilities and excellent services. I am inspired by lecturer Felicia Aw who taught me to not give up even when the stars had fade out".

KDU Marketing & Communications Manager, Neoh Soon Ken who was present during the handover of the prizes said, "The winners were really happy to receive the prizes, especially the personally autographed Dato' Lee Chong Wei's signature racquet. Some of them are huge fans of Dato Lee Chong Wei and they even sent words of encouragement to motivate him not to give up after a recent ankle injury. The lucky winners were of course equally ecstatic about the new iPad and this is also our way of encouraging our student to utilize more technology in the pursuit of education everyday in their lectures which is synonymous with KDU's stand in creating tomorrow's future technology.
