This year, the 1st Battle of the Halal Chefs 2014 saw our students and lecturers winning a total of 1 Gold, 8 Silver, 3 Bronze and 2 Diplomas. This was the first halal competition for our students, and it was a good experience for them to compete in an event with different requirements. It proved to be an eye opener and gave our students the necessary exposure to cook and compete in halal  food events in the future. Participants and volunteers alike were thrilled to have had the opportunity to be involved in this event, as well as to work side by side with their Chef Lecturers during this competition.
