Dip-PCT students in their second and third semester had the opportunity to cook and serve in a real foodservice environment when they participated in the Intel Young Chefs Programme in Penang and Kulim. Students, supervised by Chef Ridzuan, Chef Aravin and Chef Faisal, were commended for their excellent teamwork, quality of product and overall popularity of their service. Chef Audee, the manager in charge of Intel’s foodservice facilities was on hand to provide guidance and oversee the operations of the day. Students gained good exposure and experience with this activity and enhanced their learning for their Food Production I subject.

SHTCA gives thanks and their warmest appreciation to Intel and Chef Audee Cheah for his time and sharing of knowledge to students and staff there.
