Venue: Restaurant Bon Appetit
The Full Moon Night Buffet Dinner was organized by the students of Diploma in International Hospitality & Tourism Management Year 1 Semester 2, guided and consulted by Mr. Prakash for his Food & Beverage Service subject.
This F&B concept buffet dinner was part of their coursework, and students decided on the concept of ‘Full Moon’, which featured a horror and dark theme. Students decorated the restaurant to match with the theme and concept, resembling a haunted house and students were also dressed to look the part; as a zombie.
They provided the guests a creepy, interesting and unique dining environment and experience. Guests were also thrilled to receive door gifts consisting of a glow stick, a badge designed by the students and a thank you card.
This particular event gave students the opportunity to learn and to gain experience through organizing and preparing a buffet dinner and serving guests. Besides this, students also had the opportunity to be exposed to a real dinner service as practiced in the industry through the operations of a real restaurant and the service provided to diners. This buffet dinner was very successful and the students and lecturers were pleased with the result.
